Longbow is an ecommerce portal with tabs corresponding to its main functions. Use the Data tab to upload transaction data from your accounting files into Longbow’s analytics engine. The Reports tab lets you view company-level charts and reports. The Campaign tab is where you aggregate target lists into multi-touch campaigns. From the Test tab you can design and track marketing tests to determine the the most effective offers and targets. The Account tab keeps track of how much money you’ve spent downloading prospect lists.
The heart of Longbow is the Target tab where you work with your analyzed data, set selection criteria to create prospect lists, download customer names that meet the criteria, and see the results of previous campaigns. As you adjust your criteria, Longbow shows the number of customers matching those criteria, the expected response rate and the expected revenue from your campaign. Now it's easy to do ‘what if’ campaign planning and behavioral targeting based on accurate predictive analytics.
Behind the scenes, Longbow uses Loyalty Builders' time-tested and proven algorithms to calculate the loyalty of each customer and predict what they will likely buy next. These algorithms factor in not just how much a customer has spent and how often they buy, but they also incorporate changes in the rate of buying, and which products or services are purchased. Using this data Longbow is able to calculate purchase probabilities for most products, as well as a risk score measuring likelihood of a customer's defection. With this rich set of predictive metrics, companies are able to target different customer segments based on their expected future behavior.
