Delivering a target list

Step 0. Before starting data delivery	In List builder, Save the target list From List builder or the List summary screen, Checkout the list you want (this is the payment step, where applicable) Longbow has defaults for all the settings in Steps 1-3. If you are satisfied with these settings, just click the Deliver button at the bottom of the page now (Step 4)
Step 1. Configure the download fields	Click the ‘New’ button to create a new instance of the default layout Choose from a list of categorized available fields by clicking the check boxes next to the fields and then clicking the right arrow to move the fields to the layout list Remove any unnecessary fields by clicking the check box next to it in the layout section and then clicking the left arrow to move the field back to the available fields list If you want to change the label for a field’s column in the delivered file, click in the appropriate ‘Column label’ row and edit the label text You can reorder the fields by using the up and down arrows to the right of the layout section Optionally use Expressions to add a literal string to every row or to concatenate a literal string to the end of the data coming from an available field. Note that expressions must have the form: ‘my literal string’, or [selected.field] + ‘my literal string’.  Selecting a field from the Expressions field dropdown will add the appropriately formatted field name to the expression editor at the current cursor position Click the ‘Save’ button to make Longbow remember this configuration. You can later navigate to it using the ‘Prev’ and ‘Next’ buttons. Use the ‘Set as default layout’ link if you want to automatically navigate to this layout whenever you go to the Delivery configuration page
Step 2. Select the customer group(s)	Expand the “Select the customer groups” section by clicking the ‘+’ in front of that title Select Split (A/B) test if you want to see the control group, or just take delivery of the customers to whom you will campaign If a factorial test was associated with the list, click the Factorial test radio button in order to choose from among the recipe groups In either case, you can choose to add a column to the layout specified in Step 1. That column would contain an identifier – either control vs. test, or a recipe number
Step 3. Determine delivery method	Expand the “Select a delivery method’ section by clicking the ‘+’ in front of that title If you want to receive the list as a text file, check “Download” and optionally specify whether or not to include a header row, and whether to use Tab or Comma as a field separator If you have an account with a Longbow partner email service, you can check “Email” to have the list uploaded to that account
Step 4. Deliver	Click the Deliver button to begin the download to file or the upload to the email service
