Creating Campaigns

Step 1. Campaign name 
  • Set up campaign name and description
Step 2. Control code 
  • Customer responses can be assigned to the campaign according to a code you select
Step 3. Add target lists 
  • These could be either existing target list (Step 4) or newly created ones (skip to Step 7)
Step 4. Add existing list 
  • Press Add button; choose either Lists in process (top section) or Checked out lists (bottom section)
Step 5. Link or copy 
  • If you link to a list, later modifications to the target list will flow through to all instances
  • If you copy the list, a new list is created which can be modified without affecting the other instances
  • Checked out lists show a locked icon, and cannot be modified
  • A link icon indicates that the list is used in other campaigns
Step 6. At-a-glance box 
  • As soon as one or more target lists are associated with the campaign, an At-A-Glance box is populated with a summary of campaign characteristics
Step 7. Create new target list 
  • Press the New button for an entirely new list; the List Builder screen appears, identical to what shows in the Target tab when you create a new list there
