5 Starter Tasks

Here are five easy-to-follow recipes that will let you create campaign target lists from your customer data, instantly. Try these five starter campaigns yourself. They represent tasks most people tell us they want to do with Longbow™.

We’ve built templates that mirror these tasks, which you can access from the templates drop-down box on the Targeting screen. To reach the templates menu click on the ‘Target’ tab. Then click the ‘New’ button. The drop-down menu on the top left of the screen contains the five recipes. Pick one and see how it automatically sets most of the values described below.

Try these tasks as-is (for the xSell and ClearWarehouse tasks, you will need to use the Product Selection Wizard to pick products). Then change them. See how response rates and profit change. You can save your changes as new templates and create your own from scratch. See Working with templates for template help.

eBlast -- An email campaign to all customers featuring the item(s) they’re likely to buy next from your entire product range

xSell – A campaign that targets buyers of particular products and offers them related items

ClearWarehouse -- Target all potential purchasers of a particular product

1xBuyers – Target best prospects for a second purchase from customers who have bought only once

$$$atRisk – Target previously good customers who are in danger of defecting
